Just watched his press conference. Quite impressive. Definitely a familial resemblence to Tony in the way he talks about the game and his tole.
I was impressed in some ways, and surprised in others. Enjoyed hearing some of his coaching philosophies, thinking about the future, player development etc.
Slightly concerned he's only seen a few of our games this year. If I was either in the recruitment process (GH) or the prospective coach, I'd have wanted to watch every minute of every game, have a full breakdown of every player on the roster etc. He was very much like, let's see what it's like when I get there.
He's got an enforced period where he can't get hands on with the coaching. He should be spending every waking minute preparing, which it didn't seem he had been.
Maybe I'm being a bit too negative, but it definitely stood out to me.
