I'd be surprised if Wigan got shot. With regards to Zak I suspect he'll always be a bit of liability off the pitch, and that will never change. One thing is for sure, he's never been a liability on it, which is more than we can all say for the vast majority of the current crop.

An interesting listen. I like what he says about not being able to replicate culture and that its got to be about the people currently at the club. Also the philosophy of 'playing to win rather than playing not to lose' one I always shared in my coaching.

Comes across very well. Really encouraging. Even shares some facial expressions with Tony!

This lads got some job on his hands . Can he really get anything out of our 3 " star signings " St Helens must have been laughing through their hands when we came in for Bentley

Well he coached Bentley at Bradford, maybe he can get the best out of him

He did handle it well, echoes of his Uncle. Liked the bit about adding variety to attack, albeit it would be impossible to make it more basic.
Good luck to the guy, I just hope the club back him to bring in and let go who he wants in the next few years.

Slightly concerned he's only seen a few of our games this year. If I was either in the recruitment process (GH) or the prospective coach, I'd have wanted to watch every minute of every game, have a full breakdown of every player on the roster etc. He was very much like, let's see what it's like when I get there.

He's got an enforced period where he can't get hands on with the coaching. He should be spending every waking minute preparing, which it didn't seem he had been.

Maybe I'm being a bit too negative, but it definitely stood out to me.

Impressed with him if im honest but i knew i would be. His dad was something else and we all know his uncle isnt too bad either.

He will need time and he will need luck. Like i said yesterday it may or not work out but at least theres a decent chance it will.
