Huw Worthington was the other RU forward Leeds were talking to. Played a couple of games for Widnes off the bench but haven't heard any more?

Looks like RS sees Handley as first choice cover at FB.
And Kershaw would come in on the wing.
Kershaw will get plenty of game time given Fus's injury record.
Very good signing if it happens.
And good that we are clearly looking for depth at prop.

Smith is clearly very good at this stuff - he's making tough decisions and building his own squad.
Just hope his match day team prep has improved.....

Im not sure an international level RU prop could make the transition to league let alone ones at the level of worthington and Boyce. Its just a different game and they simply cannot carry the ball and make the number of tackles required in league, its a non starter unless said player was young with time to develop.

They generally carry far too much weight. Even backrowers do. Scott Quinnell had to drop about 2-3 stones after joining Wigan.

Depends what we've done with the Marquee spots.

Put Newman (or the highest earning homegrown player) on homegrown Marquee and maybe we have enough to bring Sutton in

Interesting, not seen a concrete story yet on that but watching with interest. We should hopefully be looking at him, Myler going surely gives us much more £ to play with now
