I always liked going to Halifax and always liked their fans .Halifax is a true RL Town and the stadium doesnt look ramshackle either

There's some laughable bullsh*t posted on here but this is a beaut. You think Yorkshire just nodded through Caddick doing the work? He was willing to do it at a much lower margin than anyone else.

And yes Leeds RL have been a very nice investment for Caddick. That's great for him. That's what happens in business - you take a risk and sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

But the only thing that matters, the literal only thing, is: who was there ready to take it all on back in 1996? If you weren't or anyone else wasn't then don't come back 23 years later when we've won eight Grand Finals, been world champions three times and the stadium has been completely rebuilt crying that "we've been ripped off".

Well said Ghost. The day Caddick and GH took over Leeds was the luckiest day in the clubs entire history. If people cant see that there is little hope for them.
