I do hope your so wrong, cannot suffer another season like last year. I hoping Christopher is correct, he’s a positive chap, I’ve taken to listening to him, he gives me hope.
Looking at last nights results SL could be very tight this year in terms of points.

Talking to GH after last Sunday game ( he did not give a talk after the game but went to each table) he said they are various degree of concussion, is this true, he seemed to think that Hurrell would be ok for this game.
Looks like a different whack on the head carries different points etc.

Last year it was Sir Kevin Sinfield on here that had his head in the sand. Christopher a clear winner this year.

No idea what levels of concussion there are, but I posted earlier in week after speaking to a player, that Hurrell did not feel right before game, and asked to be pulled out. What that was, was part of his issue in game.

Well miserable moaning git of the year has many, many contenders on here every year, and its looking like a very strong category again this year.

Its good not only have you written the team off this year but you’ve picked the forum winners just after one game aswell.

Moaning gits or voicing genuine concerns backed up by results & performances?
Now i agree the squad has improved from last year but its still way short of the power & quality we need to be genuine contenders agsin imho.
There other ways of making what we have stronger i.e Top Quality Coaching set up & the promising youngsters given genuine opportunities whithout signing has beens & journey men.
Again though the "evidence" proves otherwise , fwiw i dont demand or expect to win every game & win trophies every year but we had great success doing things right.
Those standards have fallen way below that & at Leeds it should be unacceptable.
You seem to mistake concern & genuine frustration as "just moaning" it isnt.

Re: RD 2 | Huddersfield Giants (A) : Sat Feb 08, 2020 10:45 pm
We have had loads of success and plenty of trophies in a golden period, some wonderful players that provided lots of memories but the team got old and recruitment was poor. It happened before after the great period of the mid 60’s through to the late 70’s. It’s similar to what happened at the end of the Revie period at United and with Man U at the end of Sir Alex’s reign.
The problem now is it will take some time to sort out because of salary cap compliance and although there are some good young ones coming through they are not in the league of Sinfield, McGuire and the rest. Teams like that don’t happen often.
So we can winge and moan as much as we like but it will be a year or two at least before we are back to winning things and that’s if we get recruitment right and the coaching settled.

Success is cyclical. People will try and tell you it doesn't have to be but it is so difficult to avoid for a whole host of reasons. The trick is trying not to fall too far when you are knocked off your perch.

It could be worse, we could be Warrington, hull, CAS. All clubs with good teams but a dusty trophy cabinet.

Success is cyclical that is true , but I'm still dreading another terrible start to the season ,out of contention before halfway and results picking up in last few games . Stuff of nightmares. Let's see how we go today

Success is cyclical, but the amount off the pace we are is unacceptable. We have the best resources of any team in the country, we should never have been allowed to slip so low.

However once we have, it will take time to amend. We should employ a top coach to get the best out of a limited squad. I'm not sure that Agar is that man
