Scorline showed a close game, but Wigan really gave it to us and were worthy winners and I don't think we have been the same since in my opinion.
Some peopel need to get their story straight.
'Wigan out-enthused us and played uss off the park'
'Wigan handed us points but we were terrible'
Which one is it?
Face it, Mac-Haters. The difference between 6th and 1st for us over the course of the season is 28 points. That's how many points, scored in the right place, would have seen us romping to a LLS win. Let's not also forget the likes of Moon & Briscoe's disallowed tries or Watkins' foot in touch at London.
Leeds have not been far off the pace this year - evidenced by our beating the team that are going to win the LLS twice from three occasions.
Since Hull KR are towelling Wakefield, they will move to fifth from bottom.
This means that we will have lost to all of the bottom four.
Still, they were all close games, so not to worry, eh?
It's all part of the masterplan. They had to lose against a few of the whipping boy rabble so everyone would turn against them and they get written off.

A, no need to spend time and energy "worrying" about sport at all. If we lose we lose, happened before and life as we know it hasn't cease to exist.
B, Wigan, who are most ppl's favourites from the other contenders on here lost to both Wakey and Bradford themselves. What does this tell us about their playoff chances?.........That's right......f**k all.

Whoever wins the title this year will be one of the worst teams in super league history to do so. They'll be quickly confined to the trash can of history. Cas are the only team that can loook themselves in the mirror and feel like they progressed.
Your job is to say to yourself on a job interview does the hiring manager likes me or not. If you aren't a particular manager's cup of tea, you haven't failed -- you've dodged a bullet.

That is one of the factors as why Leeds have conceded less points - the quality in SL is as bad as it has ever been - 6th is a humiliation given the quality of the sides in the league.

Another factor is that they defend with good energy and effort (barring the odd lapse). Granted the quality isn't S good in SL, but it was hardly sparkling or much greater in 2012 when we conceded nearly 250 points more so sometimes some credit is perhaps begrudgingly due. Also as for the whole 'quality' thing, whilst ppl drool over how great we performed in 2004, we faced some pretty average teams in at year but it gets overlooked as time passes.....just like 2012 and those who think the league or Leeds were somehow much better than the 2014 model.
