That team under Agar would have lost by a similar scoreline to the win. It would have been a combination of one man rugby and headless chicken stuff. I was very dubious about Smith when he was announced, but he really does look like the real deal. He also looked more than a bit pleased in the immediate post-match interview, so good on him.
On Johnson, he's about where you'd expect someone to be who has played just 6 games, including a couple out of position. I was wrong about Smith but glad to see Smith saw the same in O'Connor I did - he's a natural rugby player. His size would have continued to hold him back as a backrower, but he looks like he could be a really good hooker given time. Its up to Johnson to grab opportunities - which is the way it should be.
