Out of the above list I would take Asiata and Alvaro. And if we are interested in Olpherts I would much rather go for Ferguson who was one on my favourite NRL players before his misdemeanour. Isn`t Alvaro classed as Italian and would not count on the overseas quota? And hasn`t Bell signed for Saints?

Bell has been at Saints this year. Theres lots of talk about us going after an NRL winger to replace Grace however (Corey Oates is todays name plucked from thin air) and for that to happen, one of our non-fed players will need to move on. Bell and Hopoate are most likely outside of our first choice team next year, so thus probably the most likely to face being moved on. These rumours have been added to last week with Bell going back to Leigh on Duel Registration (although he did play for us against Wakefield). Excellent player, lots of enthusiasm and energy, but hes never going to remove Knowles from the 13 shirt.

Ahh James Bell was a Leigh player, signed for Saints then went back to play for Leigh on dual registration

Alvaro is an Italian International but I don’t think it makes any difference and he’s still classed as a quota player due to being overseas trained I believe.

Sorry should have said Bell was already signed by Saints.
Always rated Bell whenever I`ve seen him play for Leigh and he didn`t look too out of place for you this year.
Corey Oates will be a decent signing if it comes off.
He will probably end up at Wire with all the signings they`re making!
