My thoughts on today : Sun Apr 05, 2009 7:38 pm  

1). We were not good enough and beaten by the best team, having said that.......
2). All you ask for is a level playing field. The ref didn't give us that today. How the hell he got this match I will never know.
3). Our best players today were Burrow and Keef.
4). What does Buderus offer us at the moment???
5). We missed a bit of biff , (e.g bailey) in our fowards.
6). We need a centre. ASAP
7). Nice to see the ex rl players supporting prescott. Connolly is still very fit!!!!

We knew what to expect and still played dumb and gave him an excuse to penalise us.
As for buderus he was better than disko imo.
As for needing a centre do we ditch gibson now???I'd still keep him afterall that's gonna be smith's position(till he bugger's off to union).

2) Agreed completely
3) Add Peacock and Webb and you're there, Burrow made a couple of bad choices but had a good game
4) A quality replacement for Diskin, it's his first game, the amount of people slating him is absurd, he was the better hooker IMO
5) We missed Bailey, we also miss Scruton IMO
6) No centre is avaliable at the moment

I agree, you need a centre. Gibson isn't good enough and Watkins isn't quite ready for the big games, With Smith probably going to union you need a natural centre because left centre was definitely a weak area for you today.
