I don't think the 95s are running with it being the Easter Holiday for the students.
For the best possible option to get a bus to the ground, walk up to Albion Street (about 5 mins from the station), opposite the Post Office in the St Johns Centre and look at the stops there.
From there, you can get the No.1 / No.28 / No.56 / No.96 and a few others. In fact, pretty much every bus (except the No.51) goes up towards Headingley and a quick drop off at the Skyrack Original Oak should see you right. It is the best place in Leeds City Centre to get the best choice of buses, as the station buses and the Headrow buses both meet there before heading out.
There are also a couple of bars in that area, but I'm not going to comment on their quality (Tiger Tiger, Varsity, Bar Risa etc)
