I thought Salford were good, we don't have the divine right to beat any team in this league. Having said that we're severley off colour, we don't seem to have a clue between us how to break teams down.
If I'm not mistaken, Burrow is left Handed and McGuire right handed. So why the flippin 'eck is McGuire playing on the right, and Burrow the left? They both look uncomfortable passing to their outside man. Personally I'd prefer them both in the middle of the park, linking and causing alot more confusion to their forwards.
Both of them offered very little threat going forward today, everything looks like it's 'off the cuff' and defences are reading it too easy (Messrs Myler and Turner especially).
The forwards are tired, we're lacking a big 2nd row (Eastwood) to take the pressure off sometimes. Add to the fact Ablett is spending time in the centres and we look very lightweight up front. For me this is now a prority, ahead of a right centre.
Let's not puch the panic button yet though. Many title winning sides have been turned over on their own patch by plucky underdogs (Saints are good for one cock up at home per season usually). The potential is still there to win the title IMO, maybe an astute signing and some key players finding form, and we're still in there. Keep the faith.
