Over the last 10 years has Seniors winger always been our top scorer?

I know the lad is knocking on abit (in more ways than one) but I think Hall is getting the service that Donald is missing.

Well McGuire was our top scorer in 2004, and Calders (Chev's) was it in 2005, with McGuire again in 2006

What?
I agree with most that he might have gone a year too far and this should be his last year at the top. But we were talking about this last night and thought TVOC could answer.

End of the day he has given good service to Leeds and rugby league and is still a good Centre.

Do I know how many of Senior's wingers' tries have come from Senior's passes? No, unfortunately.

I looked at the The Hall one this season just to highlight how not all of his tries arrive as a result of Senior's direct service.

The percentage surprised me too.

Its too subjective to ever be reliable.

Situation A: Ali goes into tackle and gets a brilliant offload awy to McGuire. Senior supports, and passes wide easily to Hall to score.

Situation B: Senior gets on the outside of his opposite man, fends him, and goes 40 before passing to McGuire inside. He passes to webb when faced with the fullback.

Who shoudl get the creid for the try?

Tries are usually instigated further in field, for example by long balls , which put a player into space, and allow that player to put in a try scoring pass

The front rower who found his knees and elbows in the previous tackle, allowing him to get a quick play the ball and the glamour boys in the backs to run at a retreating defence.
