Good news if true but wouldn't that take us over the overseas quota?

He's from PNG, if he holds a PNG passport he doesnt count on OQ. I think?

Still non-Federation trained, PNG passport or not.
Presumably would mean either Falloon or Achurch being paid up and de-registered, given both have only five months left on their contracts.

He needs to get back to his best! But would be a much better signing than Farah IMO and I'm a Wests Tigers fan.
Farah is toxic.

You're allowed 7 NFT and 5 OQ players. All the seven above are NFT (Leuluai had an exemption due to being here when the rule was brought in), but Achurch and Cuthbertson qualify for UK passports and are therefore not on the overseas quota.
Segayaro - if he has a PNG passport - is covered by the Cotonou agreement. Which basically gives him employment rights in the EU, so he won't be an overseas player although he will still count as NFT.
So if he replaced Achurch that would still give us 5 OQ and just 7 NFT. If he replaced Falloon, we would have 4 OQ and 7 NFT. Either way, someone has to be released from that seven to accommodate him.

Given Segeyaro's position you'd think it would be Falloon who would go.
