Thoroughly enjoyed the game and great atmosphere. Feel it would have been a huge attendance in Yorkshire but St. Helens made the occasion as much as they could.

Great performance from the ladies, I have to say Courtney Hill has one of the best kicking games I’ve seen in a while, the club could learn with her if they got her involved. Caitlin Beevers superb at full back. Fran Goldthorp and Ellie Oldroyd took everything thrown at them and at a such young age, they are going to go very far in this game.

The best side won the game by the end of it but Castleford will learn from this as they have the talent. Gentles is top class a very strong runner. I didn’t expect that performance from the ladies at all after the first five minutes. That’s 6 in 6 in sudden death games for the men’s and women vs Castleford.

Beevers is a cracking player. Only 18/19 and made of matchsticks but she can’t half run. Absolutely fearless too.

There are some genuine characters in the team too.

Great game massive well done they've shown the men up this year massively.

Courtney hill had a better kicking n the men could learn a thing of two of her.

In terms of exposure, it's great that the game is getting a decent slot on the BBC sports update this morning.

Well done to them. They have done so well they deserve their own website and twitter feed.

No other SL team gives their womens team the coverage and exposure Leeds do. Its almost as though Leeds have been using it to mask the poor season the 1st team have had.

Im pleased they are playing and pleased the womens game is growing like it is. It will help clubs secure grants and lottery funding for various things but Christ our website is now more about the amateur womens team than it is the professional mens team.

Fantastic effort and result, especially to come from behind in a major final. Two cracking tries from Goldthorp in particular.

Marty - couldn't disagree more - they all Leeds Rhinos, it doesn't make any sense for marketing to be fragmented in the way you describe. It's all for the greater good of the game.
