That was my first thought that it looked like a RU style design. I actually prefer a predominately white shirt with maybe a small blue and amber stripe on the sleeve. I know that won't go down well with the traditionalists. I'm convinced the players look bigger in white
Another meh shirt. Maybe it's just me getting older and being more of a traditionalist. The only shirt this decade i have bought and truly like is the 2006 carl ablett tagged one in the traditional style, which sadly coincides with one of the worst seasons in living memory for us.
The 2018 kit was the best in recent years yet they still managed to mess it up by using the wrong shade of Amber, it was way too yellow, especially as it was meant to represent the 68 cc final shirt which was proper Amber
Looking at old images from the 1920s the club played in whites shirts although if we got white shirts now we would get slagged off by out of town Leeds United fans like we do for singing MOT
Looking at the kit again there was a few things that bothered me and with a bit more thought could have made it better.
Theres too many hoops, they should have swapped the colours round on alternate hoops which would have been a nice nod to the irregular hoops that are traditional, there's too many logos and the bottom of the sleeves should be white to match the collar.
And the LBS logo is too big
