I’d like us to sign Alex Walmsley. I think he’d be willing to come. Saints would sell for enough money.

Not convinced you a are right on both them points. Walmsley would be a great fit.

Broadbent had 2 runs on one he was bundled into touch after getting it 3yds in field any winger would have got the same. Stephens is no smaller than Walker or Webb for e.g.

I agree Broadbent had no chance but he still looked like a boy against men.Let him learn his trade and fill out at bit at Fev and then maybe towards the end of the season he may get a chance if we are short.Stevens isn't 18 until March let him also learn his trade.If he played on the wing now there's a good chance he would get smashed to bits and then ruined.

Already posted way back we have Stephens who covers FB/Wing Broadbent covers Centre/Wing Corey Hall will break through at some point given time & a chance plus we already have L.Briscoe who's now fit.
Of course there's the current set up with L.Sutty at Centre Newman on the Wing.
A.Sutty can cover Centre aswell and before anyone pitches in about experience Evans came from a div 2 P/T Club if he was worth a SL spot he'd have been snapped up 2yrs ago.
Now of course we could also release T.Briscoe who's best years are way behind him & enter the transfer market for a genuine decent signing rather thsn a journeyman squad filler who usedto be ok.

I’ve said this before, so if Konrad picked up a 6-7 week injury as did Handley in round 1 then you would go with:
1. Walker
2. Newman
3. Sutcliffe
4. Broadbent or A Sutcliffe
5. Stephens or hall

God forbid if we also got injuries in the back row at the same time and L or A Sutcliffe had to play in the pack as well, in which case you’d go with:

1. Walker
2. Hall
3. Newman
4. Broadbent
5. Stephens

You seem to have this huge issue with Evans or anybody being cover in the squad, even if it is one year to allow younger players to develop so they can take the shirt long term.

Good shout, positive post as well. Solution based instead of just moaning all the time.

Would love to sign him, not sure they would let him go a week before the season but would be happy to try. Maybe the club already have

My issue is signing deadwood if it was someone who was going to be a genuine competitor for a shirt then fine.
Evans on ANY of your lists doesnt look any better he's finished done a PT has been.

Walmsley's a great player, who would undoubtedly go well at Leeds. He's not a 'solution' until he signs though. I fail to see how drawing up fantasy shopping lists counts as a 'solution'.

The solution is suggesting somebody instead of saying oh we want a signing because you said we would sign somebody and we aren’t happy we haven’t signed anybody.

If it was a pure fantasy list do you really think he would be at the top? He is a realistic target, I don’t think we could get him but it is at least plausible we could sign him.

It is so negative all the time, oh we want a signing, we want a signing. I simply asked who?
