The CC was played near the start of the season then, and we got there off the back of the Graham Murray ethos, before Lance’s rot set in. As for Furner i thought he was the right man for the job, it was obvious after about 8 games he was a crap coach, and had to go.

I really did expect better from Furner, I was looking forward to him coming .Then when it started going badly I started to question the judgement of the management.

Last i heard he was coaching the German 7s team but he coached Samoa 7s for a time also. It was Damian who came up with the moving Iestyn from 1 to 6 and bringing St Hilaire on for last 25 mins. It worked out ok.
