Dependent on results today this game could be a nothing game for both sides. St. Helens already in play offs and if HKR lose, our place is sealed.

We'll likely be still in a contest for fourth and a home tie in the playoffs. I don't reckon GH would be keen to miss out on that extra income

Hmmm. Saints had a couple of injuries from their game and were on the wrong end of an epic.

On one hand I reckon Saints might be there for the taking. On the other there is no point in us qualifying for the play-offs busted - we have to manage this.

Pragmatically, we play our best side available but we don’t need to push it with anyone who’s not fit (I think a couple are carrying knocks).

You certainly dont risk kids who arent ready for it. Their development is more important than making them lambs to the slaughter for a game.

Unbelievable we’ve got fans suggesting we “rest our best players again”

I’m not sure what we’ll be resting them for because if we don’t win at least 1 of our final 2 games our season will be finished. Win them both and we’ll finish 4th with a home play off in round 1.

There is just about a full week between these so that takes some pressure off recovery and prep. I can't see Agar doing anything other than playing the best side we have in both games.

Ideally we beat Saints and take the pressure off that final game a bit, depending on results elsewhere.

We need to find some energy from somewhere and take the game straight to Saints, put some doubt in their minds and fatigue them early. You'd want them on the back foot rather than in revenge mode after the Cats result.

Can't see us winning this. Saints pack could blow us away. Would still play the best side we have. Enough time to recover for hull kr. Do we have any players left to come back for the play offs?
