Just read an article from Ross Hepinstall comparing the two teams and who he thinks makes the 17.
Interesting as personally I would not have chosen JJB or LMS.
Might have found a place for Bentley and Thompson if he played before going to Australia.
Thoughts anyone?

Roby and Walmsley realistically only players who make the Leeds 17 none of the others close. The quality of players full stop as much poorer than 10-15 years ago

Makinson is an interesting one, he wouldn't have made the Leeds team back then, but has become excellent since then. Although, it would be interesting to see how he'd go if the corner flag was still classed as being in touch.
