If current events make you want to wallow in nostalgia for the Golden Generation or if you're generally interested in the history of British RL, then make your way over to the Rugby League Records website, which will be launched at 1 p.m. this Saturday. There you'll be able to find stats on matches and players from 1996 to date. All free of charge and fully searchable. You can see all of Leeds' matches, plus individual player records. If you're interested in internationals, details of all GB, England and Wales matches from 1904 are available, with the full set to follow soon. Eventually you'll be able to get Leeds records right back to 1895 in the same digital, searchable form. This will also be free. In the meantime for just £5 for an annual subscription you can get access to teamsheets for seasons from 1895-1994, as well as help to pay site running costs. The site is at: http://www.rlfans.com

For those interested purely in Leeds, I set up a Facebook page - Leeds RLFC History. I'm putting up all the pictures I've got - action pictures, team and player photos (dating from Leeds St Johns to present) and anything else of interest. I've also put up the Leeds Heritage Numbers list I got hold of (including noting obvious errors which I have rather gleefully let the club know about) and am collecting pictures of every Leeds player in the list (so far over 1,100 out of 1,474).

So go and have a gander and if you have any photos at all from any era, please feel free to chuck them on. You might even bump into some former players....
