Not sure how a show can be so easily dismissed by people after watching just one or two episodes - the story hasn't even begun to unfold yet so how do you know if it's going to be any good or not??

I've watched all of this so far and was a bit sceptical after all the hype of the ads, but it is getting going, albeit a little slower than some other shows, but there have been some good twists in later episodes too, so will be sticking with it I think!

It was the poor acting that contributed to me switching off. The young female lead in particular is terrible.

I agree - they're all bad, but she is especially grating.

I'm up to date with the episodes, and have enjoyed it.
I can't understand how everyone has clean clothes all the time!! Who is doing all the washing and ironing with no electricity??

I also agree with the female actress. She just stands around looking pretty with her midrift showing!!

Building nicely though not an absolute classic, enjoying it.

Nice to watch something that is family friendly and isn't copying the dreadful Tarantino rape and gore crud epics or masquerading as soft porn.

I've watched it in patches. I think the issue with something like this is the American model for TV shows. 20+ episodes a season to last 5 to 7 seasons.

It's just too long. I watched lost all the way through and there was serious flagging in that show to try and make it last all the way through, not to mention the ending was terrible.

I fear that this show will go the same way and end up running out of ideas. The most interesting part of the show, the blackout is being told in flash backs. They seem to have rushed ahead too quickly.

But also why the blackout, if they all wake up dead or in a dream again I think I would give up on TV altogether.

Electrical generation is very simple and so to have something man made that can stop this seems to be a little far fetched. Can't see me sticking with it to be honest.
