Marwan Koukash has been quoted in two statements today about his ambitions.

BBC - in "People should never doubt me, and this is only the start. Within three or four years, we intend to build the biggest club in the land."
Sporting Life - "My aim is in the next four or five years to transform the Red Devils into the biggest rugby club in the world"

I like the ambition given the crowds and location

Interesting that Nobby says "I don't have a problem with expectancy levels. Everywhere I've ever been, I've placed myself under massive expectancy and that's not going to change." (Wigoon?)

It was sad! yesterday reading the number of bitter comments from opposing clubs fans, such as Castleford, Wakefield & Featherstone Rovers.

There is no doubt Dr Koukash is determined to put a good side together, yes they will take time to settle down, I'm not convinced Noble is the right man now?

Someone said Koukash's money would have made no difference at Saints, not sure about that, he claims more signings to come, he showed plans for a Hotel, Casino, Sports Bars and Waterpark (Mmmm) to make it a destination to head to! I have not seen the Doctor having to go to others to borrow funds?

There were 450 plus fans at the launch of the Red Devils, but will they increase the attendances? I'm not convinced they will reach high numbers, at present I am sure they would be glad to get back to the Weaste days of crowds.

Just wish Dr Koukash could have come to London, or perhaps he can sent some of his mates our way, don't knock someone who wants to invest in the game, at least give him a chance.

And with that, Koukash proves that he is mad/stupid. Not a cat I hell's chance are they going to be the biggest club in the land.

Don't you think David Hughes has invested plenty over the years, without any sign of success. Nothing to say that Koukash wouldn't suffer the same fate.

I am still extremly sceptical of this guy and what they will achieve with him in charge. I can see them improving, but to nowhere near the levels he is proclaiming.

They are announcing better signings than we are, isn't that the point?

I remember when we used to have these conversations about Huddersfield when they were on the rise. People claimed they were a flash in the pan and that Saints were better. Now we are auto-picks beneath them in the table.

Auto picks.. From one years worth of Huddersfield finishing ahead that's some extrapolation.

They have announced the signings in reply to the question above. Has anyone answered the question over Tim Smith and whether he counts as quota????
