I think Hohaia played well today. I think he's becoming accustomed to playing with Walsh and I think they compliment each other well when both on song.

As a minimum we need an additional quality prop a quality back rower. We need QUALITY to add to our current crop. We are packed full of depth there, but a lot depends on who is leaving I suppose.

Then I'd look to bring in a hooker to rotate Roby with. Look at the lower leagues over here and over in Aus. There's only so many players that will move to a club to be second best. Just watching Roby being involved in virtually every tackle is worrying.

His contract won't match that description unfortunately. He's gone backwards. Not physically up to it, he's to small, not strong enough.

Seems to be the case only this year. He was top tackler last year,4th top 2012 and 3rd 2011 - all with decently low misses (usually half of Wilkin!) This year he's just failed to make an impression time and time again ...

I find him very likeable, but packs can rarely afford to carry anyone, especially with our lightweight, young outside backs. I still think he could do a job for us running slightly wider on the outside, akin to how soliola is being played in recent times. If you play him down hohaias side he doesn't have to protect the smaller players so much (so his positioning doesn't get caught out as much) and would add size to the pack...

He is, but i'd rather have a horrible get who everyone hates, but rips through the opposition

The new young dynasty of super saints is coming to a ground near you.
Welsby-Dodd-Simms-Eaves-Rizzelli, not Eastmond...the future is coming.

I,d like to think Richards, Thompson, Sav and Greenwood will step up another level next season.
If Sav increases his stamina and drops a few kilo,s he would make a good second rower, the coaching staff need to do more work on these four for next season they all have loads of potential.

I dont think Savelio is. The kid looks the business, even more so considering he effectively lost a years development through illness, keeping him long term will be very tough imo

All depends on Mc Manus, his 5 year plan if you remember was youth development and finance stability, this involved the new stadium and the new half back partnership of Eastmond and Wheeler. We got the stadium but failed on the latter.
Thompson and Sav could step up we need another James Graham, if we have Amor and Walmsley playing every week then the pack in theory doesn,t look too bad, maybe a marquee signing next year but will it be a back or a forward.
Once McManus has us operating well in profit maybe in a couple of years he will splash the cash but its a juggling act with the salary cap.
