But how long did it take Wire and Wigan to get to that stage. And how much investment? Saints aren't far off. with Walsh and Lomaxin the side, you would still be title contenders. Burns would be a great signing for you and you'll be serious contenders next year with him in the side. Saints have had high intense games like that and won them this year. But Saddened seems to forget them.

It's a commitment and attitude issue mostly. But the way them two teams moved the ball last night was awesome. Doing it with GOB and Myler who aren't particularly amazing players.

As I say. It's been a while since I've seen us play at that standard.

First game of the season to be precise.

We can be bold enough to make a stand and do battle for our views and beliefs. But we must strive to be mature enough not to resort to unnecessary personal attacks upon people with opposing views.

I think the comment about GOB and myler is telling. Common amongst us all is this flaw we see very few players as good enough. If Wigan andssaibtw did a full player swap. Sardonic would be bagging sol for being second rate and the cpub as lacking ambitions for signing the likes of clubb. We already know many saints fans don't rate the double winner Marty smith.

I think what is more important is having a proper halfback playing halfback. Look at Cas for example, not exactly rammed full of superstars but proper halves, hookers, props, centres, wingers and backrowers. All personnel playing in their suited roles, this is as important as a superstar signing for me.

The new young dynasty of super saints is coming to a ground near you.
Welsby-Dodd-Simms-Eaves-Rizzelli, not Eastmond...the future is coming.

Our away game to Wigan was pretty close. We,ve had a couple of other games, unfortunately too few this season, some others we can perhaps play the injury card.
Early in the season we seemed to be mentally tougher in defence then for some reason we are not interested in winning the collison anymore.
The players have 3 games left to get back on the bus.
