Walsh will surely be on the bench again, at least for the next few weeks. Makes sense to introduce him slowly to every game until he is back to 100% fitness and confidence.

I would bring him on after 20 mins, did anybody notice how he was directing players positioning, looks as though he is going to be No 1 General on attack plays with Burns as understudy.

That was always going to be the case. Burns likes to take the line on more than he's been doing so walsh will free burns up to do that now.

Perhaps Burns used to take the line on. But a common criticism of his performances for Hull KR last season was that he didn't take on the line anywhere near enough.

I can't remember what was said about him the year before - other than he possessed a pretty good long kicking game and that he's as hard as nails.

I'm not 100% sure but I think his stats for a 6 last year was very good. Off the top of my head I think he was in top 3 stand offs for breaks abd tackle busts.

I might be wrong but I seem to recall looking last year.
