Not a fan of this tactic of only using 16 players. Why bother putting the poor lad on the bench if you have no intention of playing him? If Charnock was fit, he should have been on the bench.

With all the injuries and players covering positions, losing a back and having to do without would have been critical. The forward interchanges were perfect anyway and possibly win us the game, Savelio was fresh in the second half and smashed them to pieces, the forwards really got on top in the last 30 minutes.

Great call by the coaching staff in my opinion. I don't agree with it with a fully fit squad, but it was the right thing in the circumstances.

With Dawson and Percival back from injury maybe a touch of risk reduction having Fleming on the bench

I don't like only playing with 16 players. Especially with Mose on the bench who most weeks lucky to get 15 mins from.

Id have out Charnock on bench.

Out of necessity apparently. Percy & Dawson coming back from injuries but significantly a few players suffering from illness flu like symptoms in days before game.

i think he was waiting to see how Dawson got on with the bombs on the wing. Fleming looks more solid under the high ball to me. As it happened he didn't really have to deal with anything so there was no need to shuffle the backs.

Charnock had flu. That's why he wasn't on the bench.

If we have some players who are 50/50 in the back line then we needed a back on the bench. No point throwing him on for no reason just to justify his selection.

We really need some more flexible players like Josh Jones so we can move some forwards into the backline in future. Having LMS at centre just doesn't cut it.
