He use to be a bit more "hands on" quite a few years ago, he's more into the commercial side of things now and delegates stuff down which I assume Rush has the handle of things. I,ve spoken too him a few times last year he is still a serious saints supporter with a great knowledge of the game but he comes across as a person not going for the short fix and goes for the longer plan.

I,m not sure what he is thinking this season, he's given KC too much time without a mentor to turn things around. I would think the paying up of KC's contract is not a problem more on availability of a new coach, as far as player recruitment is concerned I would imagine that needs to be targeted at Mike Rush.
