According to the rules, where the ball was passed from and where it was caught does not determine if a pass was forward or not. Sorry to be pedantic but the RFL won't take you seriously if you don't understand the rules yourself.

The theme is correct though, the refs in our game are poor as well as the disciplinary lot who seem to just make it up as they go along
