I know this is a Saints forum but I don't think everyone checks the virtual terrace. So I'll just put a little note on here.

If like me you were holding off on getting your World Cup tickets, you should know that they are selling quite well and although there is still availability for the big games, the choice of tickets has reduced massively.

The bottom 2 sections for the final are sold out.
Wembley has sold out the bottom section and a good % of the middle tier
The Cardiff has sold out the bottom and middle section at the ends
The England game at Huddersfield is looking to sell out the bottom tiers.

Like I say still availability, but choices are dwindling. I'm starting to get my skates on so just in case people were gonig to leave it till after the GF, I just thought they may like an update.

Also, type '100DAYS' as a promo code when you buy your tickets to get them 1/2 price.

I think each club should have been forced to market the be-jesus out of one of the minor games. The big games seem to be doing fine, but if Wigan fans were semi forced to buy tickets for one of the tin pot games, Leeds another etc it could help get the smaller ones (I.e the ones the media will focus on whilst the tournament is on) they could get them up beyond the embarrassment threshold.

The only 'embarrassment' would be for the fans who didn't support the tournament. FWIW the games at Rochdale, Workington, Avignon and Neath are already close to selling out.

I'm going to a few. I went last time, standing with about 47 other people at Wrexham for one game, where they wouldn't serve my Dad a bovril because there weren't enough people to turn the power on to the refreshment porta-kabin.

i was genuinely surprised at the amount of tickets sold at Huddersfield. I've not checked out the Rochdale game, but I had heard it was going well.

Well 12 of us from Wigan (rogues inc) are going over to Limerick for the Ireland Aussie game and no we aren't leaving him there!

Tickets in the quadrants or upper tier at OT for the World Cup Final are £12.50 with that 100days code. If this doesn't sell out, regardless of England getting to the final, there is something wrong. Managed to snap up some quality seats at half price a while back.

I got tickets for Aus -v- Fiji at the fully clad Langtree Park for £5. Hopefully we will get a good crowd on for it.
