That's the sensible thing. Missing the league game against Leeds is preferable to missing the cup game at Huddersfield.

I'd rest a few more players for this match and get a half decent side together for the cup game a week later

1 match after a EGP which means in hindsight it was definitely card worthy, Wakey had to play on with 1 dazed player and a weak bench.

Report rule needs looking at or stopping being used as a cop out or worse!

Although he used his EGP - is it worth anything?

At last weeks same panel hearings, also charged with Grade "B" 1-2 match sanction were Michael Lawrence, Chev Walker & Scott Grix.
None of these had the EGP option and Walker and Lawrence got a 1 match ban same as Armor who used his EGP.
Grix just got a fine !

I've read the offence descriptions and - apart from Grix's which sounded like a 1 match ban - they are no worse or better than Armor's.

It looks like if you go to the hearing and plead very sorry etc, it looks like it gives you a better chance.

I think if we didn't have an important cup game next week we'd have chanced it with the disciplinary hearing but with Wilkin possibly missing for that game too, Saints just didn't want to take the chance and instead have taken the hit for Friday's game to ensure he's back for Huddersfield.
