It was a very good performance, but looking at last week and now this, one could argue that Cas are well and truly gone. I think they're in for a hammering next week as well. I think their petrol light came on after their Challenge Cup semi final and they've been running on empty since. It's a shame as at home they could have caused an upset and removed one of the big boys, but no chance now IMO. They had no intensity or line speed tonight and we were very professional and made very few errors and the weight of possession and territory was all it took.
Roby was superb again, a proper Master and Apprentice performance against two very good young Cas hookers. The pack did well and T-Mak did superbly to take Carney out of the game completely.
Still not sure we've got what it takes to win the next game though. I envisage a similar outcome to the recent Warrington game at home.
