If that's true, then it's terrible news for him and for the club. He's only a young man, he's played very few competitive games in the last three years due to injury, and he received his injury some 9 months ago during which time he's had the best rehab and treatment money can buy. If it's not ready to go now, then I struggle to see how he can ever be ready.
Seriously, if Lomax isn't fit to play yet, then we can't afford to keep him on the cap, and we need to seek to use that money elsewhere.
