Is Jack Owens the worst Saints signing of the past decade? : Fri Feb 19, 2016 9:04 pm  

As an outsider looking in he looks a truly terrible player. I've not seen much of him before this season but he looks way way out of his depth.

Surely questions need to be asked about who at the club authorised his signing?

He is absolutely abysmal but he is not on his own, Luke Walsh put in one of the worst halfbacks performance i have witnessed and Jon Wilkin actually gave up. He should retire with immediate effect.

I thought Owens was bad last week, but didn't comment on it as I don't want to write him off too early.

He was as bad this week.

Owens was a lot more solid dealing with kicks this week but defensively he doesn't look to have a tackle in him and his kick offs were killing you.

Never a full back of the quality a club like St Helens requires.

Looks very nervy with the ball. Always looking to pass and doesn't like having to take the ball in.

To be honest under our current coaching regime it would be hard to judge any of our players.
