I heard a lot of the "Foster needs to bulk" up comments and took them with a pinch of salt given that this is half the problem in why we are not producing quality backs, but with Foster it really is a good point.
To pair him up with another youngster would be asking for trouble in my opinion, even as solid as Armstrong looks
I agree its a monumental gamble, but having Gilmour at Centre really doesnt sound good to me (see Flannery's performances against Wire in centre position in previous seasons as evidance).
I think that they would be able to handle the defense side but attacking we might lose options.
Its worth a gamble though isnt it?

Hmmm... If Foster is as much as a propsect as what the experts say, then maybe. You could also argue that you would 'reclaim' some of the points you may lose to their defensive mistakes with his excellent kicking as he does look like the best kicker I have seen since Botica.
Plus he is also a young British player making his way, so it would be good to see Saints bring another player through to a position where GB rugby really is at its poorest (probably for a long, long time) as opposed to putting Flannery there which would be a poor, Noble-esque option.
I admit to not seeing much of Foster or Armstrong but going off what people on here have said then i think that there might be the occasional brain fart but you never know until you try.
Morley Briers Clarke Reardon V Anderson L Anderson
Looks like another understrength wire team will be put to the sword.
Would not be a suprise. Warrington have a number of injury prone players in their squad. So who do they sign Gareth Carvell
Any wire side will be dangerous this season.
I imagine that Pulatua will play at prop with Clough at second row and Hargreave will start on the bench. Armstrong has to be a good tip on the wing with Gilmour at centre if fit.

From what I've seen of them they don't strike me as players that are susceptible to brain farts.
Armstrong looks a good solid winger in defence and attack but perhaps lacks a bit of pace.
Foster looks to have all the composure and ability he needs, but might get trampled over a bit.
I'd say the safe option would be Armstrong, but the more exciting option would be Foster (he'd also guarantee us a few more goals).
