I for one never thought I would see a Saints team clinging on to 8th spot, a few weeks ago I posted on here that Saints would be in the last 4 of the play off's.

I just can't see that happening now.

This team is almost the same team as last year. In fact, in Turner and Manu it's actually an improved team. So the coach has to be the reason for this steep decline.

For those who went tonight, how did the two rumoured ins Beaumont and Carlile play?

Leeds were in a similiar type of position around this time in 2011. Hovering around 8th position and just got a total shellacking from catalans. Food for thought.

Leeds were streets ahead of us as a team though so although you may be attempting to reassure us, alas the two situations are chalk and cheese!

Heck of a long way for me to travel to watch that poor show. No aggression, clueless attack and errors aplenty. Suddenly we could be struggling once again to make the play offs.

I thought about you tonight, having read that you were travelling from Scotland, and felt right sorry for you! There was a couple behind me from Llandudno and one other couple who had travelled from Stoke.

I wonder if the club and players are aware that some people put a lot of money, time and effort into supporting the team and that the team and coaching staff should be showing that commitment a great deal more respect than they are doing at present.

Cas will now be looking good for eighth spot, sorry you travelled so far for that dross pal. I felt this bad when Cas beat us 40 10 at KR IN 82 that is how bad we are back to 82

Beaumont seems to be built similar to Hock. Runs it in well and defends with a lot of aggression. But he looked like bambi at times, unsure what he should be doing and late to react to everything and late getting back into the line. He seemed to play about 20 minutes and they go off with cramp at the end, if it was him.

Carlile seems a shorter version of Howarth, offers nothing that I can see being beneficial to us.
