I really don't recall him being that slow when he's played in the past.

He must have something about him because he's hung around a lot longer than other youth players have, it's been two years since he made his first team debut, unless we signed him on a ridiculously long contract? It's obviously not worked out for him here, for whatever reason, and he may kick on going elsewhere. He may not of course...

To be fair to him I think he was highly rated a few years ago. But he had a few serious injuries and looks battered now. He has lost any pace he did have and I really can't understand where London would play him. If they are signing players in preparation for playing in a lower league then it's perhaps understandable. When do the proposed changes come in?

He's not as slow as he looks I reckon.

Whilst he was poor for us earlier in the season, he was filling in at half back, which is not his position and, even though he struggled, he would come up with the odd play that was very nice.

He's a full back, a position we've seen him play rarely in the 1st team. He does look like a very assured player though.

However, despite being a full back, they moved him to #6 in the reserves to allow the likes of Swift and Gaskell play the glamour fullback role.

Play him fullback and you may get a decent player, but there's certainly better players out there to be signed.

I think i would be fair to say he isn't fast  , I'd back him in a sprint over Wello but thats about it.

Showed a lot of promise as a younger player but doesn't seem to have developed since he was 17
I've always thought of McGuire as a good player, and I wouldn't normally wish injury on any player, but there was a certain hint of poetic justice to that.
Another classic:
You forgot to take off the "Saints Reduction Factor" when calculating the ban.

Standard suspension / Saints Reduction Factor = Actual ban for Saints player.

Therefore (2 / 3) = 0.666

0.666 < 1 therefore actual ban equals "less than 1 match".

Therefore ZERO.
Give the girl her dummy back.

Don, just read before getting all hot & bothered, there is no denying, that both Foster & Gaskell after done well since leaving the club, and I am certain it would never have been Foster's choice to leave.

All I was trying to point out is that some young players who leave, or are told they are no longer wanted, find a new club does them the world of good, to prove something at least. You are not saying that Fosters goal kicking was missed at first.

We wont miss Foster,Gaskell we could but he's running out of coaches at quite a young age.
I look forward to your next instalment of Saints doom and gloom.
