Lomax and Roby have been hampered by injuries and therefore have not really got into a run of good form unfortunately. Lomax looked really good in his first few games at 1 but didn't do it over a long enough period of time to be called player of the season.

I see what you mean with regards to Wilkin being probably our most important player of the season. But having said that, the quality of his performances haven't actually been particularly wonderful.

Manu, Turner, Soliola and Jones have all been good in patches. Swift and Percival have bags of potential and I think Luke Thompson and Anthony Walker will turn into good players for us also.

Based on it being his first season at this level and the fact that he's our top metre maker despite not playing as many minutes as our other props, I'd go for Alex Walmsley as our player of the season.

I did consider Walmsley, but his stats are a bit one sided for me. Lots of meters, less in the tackles.

Shows I'm not biased. I say what I see.

I think he's been very important for us this year and deserves some credit. I've bagged him enough over the years.

Only joking in the three games I've seen you live and whilst on TV I think LMS has stepped up of late and young Swift, Jones & Walmsley have been good.

I would give it to Sia Soliola with Wilkin a close second. Special mention to Walmsley in his rookie year.

I agree with it being Wilkin, we would be in a much worse position without him in the team this year. He has played out of position (or the position he should have always played in if we had previously had a coach with a clue) and people on here still slag him off. It should have been Lomax's year but injury cost him. Turner and Sia are worth shouts also.

I think Lomax has been a massive let down and not just down to his injuries. He stunk the place out week after week in the halves early on. He then had about 5/6 games where he was outstanding at fullback and he's been very average since his comeback from injury.
