Yeah just thinking that, Jones on the bench with Turner and Percival at centre would cover Richards if he was left out. That would mean Wellens or Hohaia on the bench though!!

Hohaia on the bench as a sub for Roby is the best option?

Well, if we go with the whole "If Gary Wheeler's fit, he'll play" thing, then I wouldn't be surprised to see Percival and Richards miss out.

Wheeler 6, Hohaia interchange hooker, Wello interchange whatever.

Richards being included in the squad demonstrates how we potentially have a clog of players. Richards, Clough, Beaumont, Hand, Forster, Walker, Greenwood, Thompson, Tilley, Flanaghan - what are these guys going got be doing if hey're not playing first team?
Hopefully we continue to make the dual reg work well for us to bring the lads on and sort the wheat from the chaff.

Probably like Saints squad looks a "bit strange" in certain quarters.......out with the old, in with the new!!!

I believe we should have some news on dual reg/loan players going out in the next couple of weeks. There's certainly a wealth of forwards that need the experience.

That's a strong squad but I do wonder where your direction will come from. Myler and Ratchford are both talented players but for me don't have the control or organisation game. Perhaps Michael Monaghan will play a spell elsewhere from hooker as I believe he has it in his game.

Surely they won't try and squeeze both Hohaia and Wellens onto the bench? That would be awful.
