Whilst the OP is perhaps optimistic we should be looking to improve our hom form this season and turn LP into a bit of a fortress. Apart from a couple of games against Wigan and Leeds, we've lost the majority of the big games at home.

I think the original poster is on a wind up

We may improve on last year but we will lose a bunch of home games

At times last season we were absolutely dire and saved some of the particularly bad stuff for LP

One decent win doesn't change the fact that we've a lot of scope for improvement

It is tongue in cheek, but I think it is important to have a good home record this year and get some excitement into langtree park.
The atmosphere of Knowsley road hasn't quite been achieved at lp yet.

That I do agree with. This should be a year where some good memories are made at LP.

Agreed, demanding we go unbeaten is aa big call, but making LP a fortress is not. We dropped far too many points there last year - the towling by Widnes is one of my low points as a Saints fan.

Hats off if Saints can do it, hats off to any team that does it, we can’t! I would think the longer the season goes on with that record in tacked the more the incentive for a capable opposition. It was ever thus!
