I was so excited about Clough a couple of years back then he just get any better.
I still think he has the potential to be a very good player

I don't think he will be anything more than a steady performer, not that there's anything wrong with that.
Main problem is he's too small to be a prop and now to bulked up to be a effective back rower

It seems daft if this deal was agreed without a recall clause.

Was never convinced Clough would be a stand out prop, but he can be a very, very good second rower in the Liam Farrell mould.

Although, with the interchange rules they are these days, I even wonder how a young Chris Joynt would fare coming through the ranks.
