The person who was topping that table was Scott Moore. I don't know whether that's still the case.

Yeah it's still him.

We don't have a defence coach. KC is supposed to be coaching the forwards. So far he's making an extremely bad job of it.

Only one player made 100m and that was Dawson, a back. The forwards generally made half of that. While Robes and Thompson clearly were too busy saving everyone's skin in defence, and so to a point can be excused, the rest of our forwards cannot. They should have their boll ocks worked off this week.

One of the most frustrating things about our forwards is that the problems are really basic. Aggression and running on to the ball at speed. You teach kids at about 9 or 10 that they should run on the ball. We have seasoned professionals who are catching the ball stood still and slowly jogging into the tackle; it's an absolute disgrace. Why can't our coaching staff recognise this issue and do something about it?

Good to see we didn't miss Wilkin's defensive stint . . . . .

Mose didn't do that many carries. Those stats are BS. He made 5. I counted and also another posted he counted 5.

Luke Walsh needs to sort his tackling out. He must have missed more than any other in super league.

I watched it back this morning (glutten for punishment) and the stats are right.

I don't agree, I counted and another poster counted the same. Did you see him laughing and smiling when he was trying to pack down in the scrum at 24-0 down.

Watch the game back if you can suffer it and count again, he definitely did 9.

I'm not saying they were effective but there was 9 not very effective carries.

I wish I knew. It's utterly baffling. It frustrates the hell out of me.

We can be bold enough to make a stand and do battle for our views and beliefs. But we must strive to be mature enough not to resort to unnecessary personal attacks upon people with opposing views.

Re: Cats stats, read 'em and weep : Mon Jun 16, 2014 11:51 am
Well I'm supportive when they do well and when Mose did over 150 m I think it was against Huddersfield, I said the BOOM had arrived.

Well the Boom arrived and it seems like it was all noise.

Not seen the game but those stats. Not one forward made over 100m. Mose made almost half that.

Aweful just aweful and only 11 tackles with 3 of them misses?

Roby made more tackles than nearly every forward made meters.
Assisted it seems by Thompson.

Not sure if I'll watch the game, but quite frankly that's poor in anyones book.

Lets look at a very poor team.
London - several forwards tipping close to 100m in their last loss. Tackling more evenly distributed.

Or another team that took a hammering

Widnes- 70's, 60's and 90's not impressive but at least showing some fight despite being on the end of a hammering. The tackling again evenly distributed.

To me that shows even if a team is not very good or having a bad day, they can still put in an effort. Our had a bad day, were not very good and put in little effort.

Also a back on the bench??? Why have we gone down that road again. Ok it was needed, but by then the game was gone anyway.

I also think this gimmick of Wellens trying to be a forward needs to stop. 13 tackles and 30m for a loose forward is embarrassing.

CAn't even write properly now.

Got to feel for those who watched it.

I HATE ALL THE PIES

Re: Cats stats, read 'em and weep : Mon Jun 16, 2014 12:10 pm
Looks like the blame is fairly evenly distributed amongst all the players.

Not one player seems to have had a stand out performance, which makes me conclude it was/is an attitude problem
