Do we though? At the moment, were losing Soliola, Manu is "in negotiations", Wilkin is a lock, LMS could be played out wide but isnt, Flanaghan has been told to look elsewhere, and Clough is all but gone. Greenwood is yet to be signed up, Savelio is still raw and the rest of our young forwards are props.

Wilkin Vea LMS (Manu/another) and Savelio, are currently our back row options for next year - Hopefully there are a few more second rowers pushing through (? regular 19s watchers know?) or another top (Kirmond or T'eo) second row coming in.

Hewitt and Charnock should start pushing up as backup next year to Walsh and a new 6 - if the 6 doesnt come in as a replacement to hohaia, he can play interchange hooker - else that would be my priority.

We need another Backrow, it has to be a replacement for sia. I'm glad brown doesn't make comment that it's a replacement for sia. We need a prop and a stand off.

I don't think we will bring a prop in, we will go with Mose, Amor, Lms, walmsley, Beuamont, Richards and Thompson. We do have numbers in the prop position but I think we in dire need of a big hard working tough prop to start games. The type of prop that wants to drive us out our 20m zone.

We are certainly light in the Backrow in terms of bodies and quality. Vea, Manu (he will stay), Wilkin and greenwood doesn't really shout out to me a quality.

We obviously need a 6.

Manu has all but agreed a 12 month extension by all accounts. So there's Manu, Wilkin, Vea and Jones plus the kids like Greenwood, Thompson, Savelio.

I think our priorities lie elsewhere.

Us be happy with a stand off, prop and Backrow.

If we bring a 6 in, it gives us cover at 9 with lance moving to the bench meaning we can spell robes. We are in dire need of some grunt in the pack.

Great. We have another 12 months of Manu having massive brain farts which sees him throwing inaccurate offloads to nobody and costing us possession deep in our own half.

Just the type of match winner we need. Hull pulled our y-fonts down on that one.

I agree mate.

1.Lomax
6.Burns/Brown
7.Walsh
9.Roby
14.Hohaia

That would be more than good enough.

I'd be happy with that, especially if Burns was 6.

Nobody will agree with me but I'd like us to sign Gareth O'Brien. Not a superstar line breaker but will develop into a similar player (and standard)to Matty Smith, whom we also turned our nose up at. He wouldn't cost a fortune in wages and would be ideal backup in the halves.

I don't rate him at all. He will get nowhere near the standard of Matty smith.

I'd be happy for Manu to extend for a year (no more) on the condition we make a big play for Whitehead the year after.

Jones is a centre, Thompson is a prop and I have concerns that greenwood will end up with his brother, which is why we appear light.

I also think we need to figure out what we want from our lock. Ball handler = Wilkin at 13 (and he can be given a job without interfering with the halfbacks) or 3rd prop option = LMS (and kept well away from the front row) - at the moment it's neither and the constant changing disrupts us.

Burns next please (if rumours are to be believed)

Not sure I fully agree re. Thompson. I don't think he is an out and out prop, nor is Jones an out and out centre. My point is that they are both options in the back row. I certainly feel Jones will play more at back row than centre long term.

Latest rumour re. Burns is that Wigan are after him.
