Astonishing performance from Warrington, not seen that all year. Still, the fact that you are favorites for the Dinner Plate despite the injuries you have had has to be commended. Good luck against the Udders.

There's not a lot he can do about that when there isn't a fit half-back in the squad. The worrying thing about this debacle is that it has had nothing to do with us not having any playmakers. It's been about us getting thoroughly beaten up in the middle, which has happened pretty much every time we've played on the big stage this season.

I'm not having this no halfback bollax Walsh can't make the forwards tackle and catch every ball :FRUSRATED:

It's a leader we need someone to get this team up for a match don't know what Kieron Cunningham does to get our forwards working but he needs to look at himself also.

Give one of our Academy halfs a go Browny as Turner is pants at 7

Re: Shamefully bad : Thu Sep 04, 2014 9:36 pm
That was just embarrassing.

The ineptitude shown by some players was shocking. Wire showed more zip all through the game. Almost every time one of our players was tackled, they were put on their backs, then ambled to their feet to play the ball.

In contrast, Wire were zipping from dummy half, exploiting space left by our lazy defence.

Wire realised quickly that Child had no interest in enforcing the offside from the PTB, whereas it took us far too long to do so.

After a good opening 5 minutes, the [wrongly given IMO] pen against us on our line and them scoring straight after seemed to knock the fight out of us.

In a match of such importance, that was shameful.

Rotten. That's as bad as it gets.

Don't give me this Warrington were special BS. Pilks would have turned us over tonight.

Surprised none of you have said it was our Cup final yet.

Pretty weird how you have turned in to total dogpoop at the sight of Warrington twice this year.

Still on the whole I have been impressed with the Saints this season and still think you are favourites for the Grand Final, you just turn in these turd efforts sometimes.

Sadly the league is fairly weak these days and I can see why you guys are frustrated even if you have success this year because its only a few years ago that Saints were putting out a team with Cunningham, Scully and co in that would always have a good dingdong with Warrington and do whatever it took to win however scrappily you'd played.

Did anyone see Brown's post match interview on Sky? I've just seen it. 'I can't be too hard on the guys' followed by a wink to the camera. The guy is an ass. I want him gone.

(And no, not simply because of the post match interview; but rather what it represents and how his ineptitude and casual attitude has undermined us all season)

One thing Brown has done for us. He's made us the best at signing decent players and then completely ruining them.

The new young dynasty of super saints is coming to a ground near you.
Welsby-Dodd-Simms-Eaves-Rizzelli, not Eastmond...the future is coming.

I wouldn,t blame Brown for this one, after 5 mins the players didn,t look interested shocking performance by every single player. Warrington played as though it was them who was going for the league leaders shield.
We might as well toss a coin for the game next week to what the players are going to come up with, it was embarrassing.

Re: Shamefully bad : Thu Sep 04, 2014 10:04 pm
Another quite ridiculous performance from a team devoid of a soul. There is no backbone in this side, as soon as anything goes against them they turn to jelly. Wellens as captain is a joke, an utter joke. When the decisions were going against us after we scored, he should have been in his face complaining and demanding better. There were some utterly ridiculous decisions given tonight and he never opened his mouth.

Our pack is the best in the league if you believe Walsh, Brown, McManus and a lot of idiots on here. They're a joke. Individually they look decent players at times, but whenever it matters they get completely demolished. Tonight was unnacceptably bad, Wire lost Grix and Westwood and Waterhouse and Asotasi are appalling. They didn't even have a bench yet they still smashed up to pieces.

McManus has got to be ruthless, he's got to wake up from his slumber and have a complete clear out. We cannot give Wellens another deal, he's a complete joke, a total liability defensively and a terrible player with the ball. Turner is another who has to go. Yet they're holding back on giving Manu a contract? Release McDonnell, Dawson, Wellens, Hohaia and Masoe and we would save a packet and wouldn't notice the difference.
