Sad state of affairs when only one from Saints gets in on merit with us finishing top?

Peacock for MOS for me also

Not going to argue with O'Loughlins ability and what he does for Wigan but he's missed so many games this year with injury and being 'rested' how can he make the team??

We can be bold enough to make a stand and do battle for our views and beliefs. But we must strive to be mature enough not to resort to unnecessary personal attacks upon people with opposing views.

Is it picked on OPTA stats?

No. It's picked by the journalists, which are mostly Yarkshire born anyway so that would explain why Leeds got way too many players in there.

The OPTA team of the year was on the Fulltime show tonight. Robes is in there as 9 but he's our only representative. Robes was never going to get in the dream team this season because Clarke was the blue eyed boy!

How Escare was left out I do not know. And since when is Hall better than the leading try scorer? Hilarious!

I think Walsh should have been in. True he's been injured, but he's been quality and far better than what's been chosen. Afraid there's far too many Leeds players for my liking (Cas)

Well done on the Lls ( best team won)

Last year I was suspicious that the team had been skewed to make it all English, this year I'm convinced it has.

A couple of the BBC journos voted for Walsh

O'Loughlin only missed one game less than Walsh and he's in the dream team so clearly injury absences weren't an issue.

He's just being Yarkshire. That's why so many Leeds players were in the final version: most of the journos are Yarkshires.
