:( It's always good to get well thought out comments from rival fans that advance the discussion. We have not done very well this year, there is no denying that. However we would have been much higher if we had been able to play you at home every fortnight. You must really love coming to East Hull.

We are at the end of one of the worst periods in Saints history. Some of our recently departed players wouldn't nave been classed as reserves 10 years ago. We are at present rebuilding the squad to get back to where we think we deserve to be. We're not there yet but we finished top. You didn't make the 8. My comment was merely a dose of reality.

See you next season with what I am certain will be a far different result.

Burns is a good player. He's clever, can run with the ball, good kicking game, tackles and is very aggressive but he's also a winner. He's a very good competitor and that's what we lack in this team.

If we keep him and Walsh fully fit then we got a quality halfback pairing and something we not had in Many years.

Brown said Dave Hewitt from our academy will be used in pre-season as he thinks he'll be ready?
I've watched Hewitt in the games before the first team at home and he looks good with a superb kicking game? Barry Mac on Boot n All was singing his praises last week on Sky also?

Yes I heard Barrie Mac saying that. Maybe we will give Hewitt odd games next year to work him in a little.

Have you seen him play? I agree with most of that but to say he's clever and has a kicking game is very wide of the mark. The biggest fauls we've had this year is a severe lack of brains and any form of kicking game. Our last play options have been almost comical. The key for you will be how he plays alongside Walsh who does have the kicking game and brain. I still think you'd have been better signing a running 6 who could play off the shoulder of walsh.

Laffranchi, Manu, Soliola and Clough for definite. I suspect Wheeler also. In short quite a few big hitters.

We aren't at the cap. We have space for another signing after Burns.

Laffracnhi, Manu, Soliola, Clough and Wheeler leaving.

Vea and Burns coming in so far.

We can be bold enough to make a stand and do battle for our views and beliefs. But we must strive to be mature enough not to resort to unnecessary personal attacks upon people with opposing views.
