We can be bold enough to make a stand and do battle for our views and beliefs. But we must strive to be mature enough not to resort to unnecessary personal attacks upon people with opposing views.

Re: Amor Sin Bin : Sat Feb 28, 2015 12:22 am
They ain't cas fans, they are ex wiganers. If it was Saints v a naughty boys invitational they would be the same.

It's a natural response from Wiganers to call it against Saints.

boards and he is NOT to be taken at all seriously. "

Re: Amor Sin Bin : Sat Feb 28, 2015 10:03 am
It was bad enough to warrant a yellow in my view. Maybe he didn't intend to push Tansey's head forward when he dumped his full weight on top of him, but that's what happened. There's not much more dangerous that having 16 stone pushing your neck into a place your body can't follow. Assuming it was careless, not deliberate (he could have been ignorant about which way Tansey's head was, and actually intended to just slam him down on his back, which would have been fine), he may get yellow-sufficient. But I couldn't argue with the card - if someone did that to a Saints player, I'd be calling for his sinbinning too.

I don't see Burns's high shot as particularly serious. He was pushed off balance by a very firm hand-off by Carney, and as a result his tackling arm rose and hit the head. Penalty was correct, but I didn't see any intent there at all, so I'd be surprised if that goes further.

Burns had his best game so far imo.

I thought Burns was better in the two super league games before with some truly world class passing.

I've only seen his high shot on the big screen and I thought it looked pretty bad but like I said, I only seen it on big screen.

Happy with lazy Mose ?

I thought Mose was lazy last night. But if you look at the stats, you'll see that his performance is not very different from all the other forwards bar Roby and Walmsley. It just wasn't a great forward performance all round last night, and I don't think it would be fair or accurate to pick out Mose as a particular standout disappointment.

Disagree, 39m from a guy his size is not a good return. Walmsley, Roby, Vea and Amor completely outplayed him, and greenwood and Thompson, despite having below par performances for them, still comfortably put more effort in than Masoe.

I was very disappointed with him last night, BUT I'd be intrigued to see the number of tries we scored with him on the pitch vs how many we scored off ther pitch - there was a period we had 3on1 overlaps virtually every play.

Until Savelio can gain some more presence on the pitch, he's not Masoes replacement. That said, Mose looked like a man distracted by contract negotiations to me.

Was he distracted all pre season as well as he's massivley unfit. He looks fat, he looks lazy and not interested. He had a spell where he was a little fired up but basically he was stopped with ease as per usual. I'd go as far to say he was fitter last year.

I think he's lucky we won things last year as fans would start to see how lazy and soft he is. I've heard fans in two games now starting to notice he doesn't pull his weight.

I can't beleive a guy that size and who's very mobile for his size can't break a paper bag.

At the other end of the scale, it looks like Percy really put the work in last off season, he looks bigger, stronger and faster. He's a real threat with the ball in hand. He's going to play for england im pretty sure of that.

Re: Amor Sin Bin : Sat Feb 28, 2015 1:25 pm
Yet Percy got no joy from any of the SKY idiots.

In fact they were saying he had to do better in future after scoring.

I guess he's not with one of their or their families agents and so is getting laid into.

I do think comentators should have to declare conflicts of interest before commentating, just so we know they are peddling their own or families businesses.

I'm not a Mose basher, but i was disappointed with his effort yesterday. We needed a sleaves rolled up performance, I was expecting him to do what he did last season in that match and play some of the dirty work. In stead he was still on and off as an impact player, yet made no impact.

Should have done better. a 5 from me for that yesterday. I don't buy into that it's all the time though.

What an embarrassing thread. While probably accidental what Amor did was pretty dangerous. if you're unlucky putting 16 stone of pressure on a guy's head could be tragic. And what with every call going your way at the expense of at least two Cas tries, calling Silverwood for a yellow card for dangerous play is a bit rich. Stay classy lads!
