As a Roosters member who regularly attends games, I can tell you for a fact that is a load of crap.

Its widely expected he will leave at the end of this year, but if he does, it will more than likely be to another NRL team. He's far too good to leave the NRL and I would be amazed if any Super League Club could even afford him. Plenty of NRL teams who could do with a centre like him.

I'd love us to sign him, mostly as our friends from over t'lump would start all sorts of conspiracy theories about us dodging the salary cap, underhand payments etc

We have assumed Mike Rush of Saints have made enquiries whilst in OZ, there is also the possibility of a "marquee player" allowed next season so its understandable there is a possible link to him.

What i get from this post is that your a Wigan Fan living in Sydney who go's watching the Roosters and would hate to see St Helens sign somebody of his calibre.

I can't see him coming to Superleague but fingers crossed

You can get whatever you want from my post, but I would hate to see any Super League club get someone of his calibre, Wigan included. He is a quality centre and should be playing in the NRL. There are plenty of other NRL teams that could do with him and have money to spend.

I have no doubt they made enquires, and I get why they would be linked to him. Even with a marquee player allowance, he would still be expensive, but I suppose if Saints have the money then off course you would go for him.

I'm still not convinced it would happen but it is possible. Even though the NRL pays better the and competition is the best in the world players obviously have other reasons for wanting to come over to Europe and maybe he just fancies living this side of the world for a bit. If he does want to come I'd hope and expect we would be in the mix for him
