Haydock is on the front line of the Saints-Wigan rivalry. We are expected to pack heat when it comes to banter. Billinge is the rural equivalent, which as anybody knows, is nothing next to urban warfare. What about us who rode into St. Helens on missionary duties. We came to educate those who worked at the likes of Pilks, UGB, Forsters (Rockware) UGB, Beechams and the mines of Bold and Sutton Manor
Some of us even took take your wenches away to protect them from evil.

I hope the Good Lord rewards us in heaven for our work.

Ha,Ha did "Barney" make the first wench invasion or was you the first one to pillage in our land from the family point of view. On the thread title Bold Colliery had the best pie and gravy much better than the Platt Bridge/Ince versions.

Anyone from Billinge who supports Wigan must undoubtedly be a traitor. Billinge is too posh (I'm talking purely in relative terms here before anyone gets the idea that I am being literally - serious) to follow the Pies. It says quite clearly in the Wigan fans' Constitution:

"Thou must have no inside toilet or newfangled electrification".
