Cunningham stated early in the week there was no finance for Locke? how did Wakefield manage it, was the coach an influence, great stepping ladder if he gets his act together.

I think KC was more concerned about it being a messy time consuming contract situation with him going through court proceedings. Well thats been blown out of the water by Wakefield, done and dusted within 48 hours.

Even though it's working against us in this case, this is why I'm glad we have a salary cap. Otherwise, we might have been tempted to stretch our finances to panic buy the likes Kevin Locke, and held to ransom over a big wage.

We can cope with what we've got. Get the young lad in. If he has a good game against Widnes, it'll put to bed ideas of getting another player in, or moving other players out of position because let's be honest...we're fans and we're fickle.
