Ehm, think you will find he plays for Hull, when he gets a game. Which somewhat strangely makes your very point about any particular teams fans being better judges of thier own players than other teams.
Suffice to say both Giants and Saints have some very good players and some squad men, as a group the Giants are currently playing better, which proves nothing about potential.
FWIW as an outsider I believe Saints have to cut ties with the old guard if they are to quickly return to where you are used to being, in professional sport tough decisions are needed at times as sentiment can hold you back, it is a business after all.
